Tales of Terror from the Tunnel's Mouth

Tales of Terror from the Tunnel's Mouth by Chris Priestley
For the first time in his life, Robert is taking the train by himself. His stepmother tries to persuade him to take another train after she has an awful premonition, but Robert ignores her. When the train breaks down at the mouth of a dark tunnel, a woman tells Robert a series of strange and scary stories to pass the time as they wait for help. As time goes on and no help arrives, Robert begins to wonder whether there is something more sinister about the seemingly kind woman.

This collection of short stories is perfect for boys and girls who love scary, creepy tales.
